What we shipped, and why.
Every entry here is in the product today. Each one exists because a shop somewhere needed it, and each was tested against the full suite before it reached a till.
Quotations
Price a basket for a customer before they commit. An accepted quote goes to the till as a held sale with its lines intact, so nobody retypes it and the price quoted is the price charged.
- Priced with the same maths as the till, so a quote and a sale always agree
- Revisions supersede the original instead of overwriting it
- Line descriptions are frozen, so renaming a product never rewrites an old quote
Dashboard switches that actually switch
Turning a dashboard widget off now hides it everywhere. Four widgets were ignoring their switch; all twelve respect it now.
A calmer, more honest interface
- The owner app scrolls properly on desktop, not just on phones
- Sync monitor gained a "retry all" that only retries what can actually succeed
- Payment processors grouped into their own panels in settings
- Long permission names and webhook addresses wrap instead of spilling out
Empty screens with a purpose
A screen with nothing on it yet now explains what belongs there and offers the next step, instead of showing an empty table.
Restore that works, and a real offline screen
Restoring a backup now genuinely replaces your data and keeps the record of the restore itself. Any backup can be downloaded as one compressed file from the browser.
- Branded error pages that load even when the database is unreachable
- A rebuilt offline screen that shows how many sales are queued and when the last sync happened
Push alerts to staff devices
Low stock, expiring batches and sync problems can now alert the right people on their phones, without anyone installing a separate app.
Off-site backups
Backups can be copied to S3-compatible storage under your own credentials and bucket, so a copy of your business always lives somewhere you control.
Credit accounts, supplier returns and customer messaging
- Customer accounts with credit limits, payment terms and statements
- Return stock to a supplier and raise a debit note against their invoice
- Send customers receipts and reminders by SMS or WhatsApp
Promotions and loyalty at the till
Percentage and value offers, category rules, loyalty points and tiers are worked out automatically as the basket builds.
Till hardware and module switches
Receipt printers, cash drawers, barcode cameras and scales connect to the till, and modules you do not use can be switched off so the interface only shows what you need.
Accountant exports and the owner app
Export the ledger in formats QuickBooks and Sage can import. Owners can follow the day's trading from their phone.
Paystack, Moniepoint, Flutterwave and Nomba
Take payments through the processors Nigerian shops already use, recorded against the sale like any other tender.
